This piece started off as a vintage fiberglass retail prop. Originally it had a suit cuff and was holding a business card. Chuy’s Tex-Mex had quite a different style in mind. The cuff was changed to a billowy white robe, and the business card became a giant taco. But it couldn’t just be a flour or corn tortilla shell, but a vinyl Elvis record! The shell has a custom print replicating the label for Elvis’ “Pocketful of Rainbows”.
